Can everyone get the service?
MOST residential customers in our exchanges with landline phone service will eventually be able to receive video service. Available service areas include: Christmas Lake Village, Holland, St. Meinrad, Bandon and St. Marks.
Do I have to have Telephone service in order to get the Video
Yes, landline telephone service is required to receive PSCtv service.
How does PSCtv differ from Cable, Dish or Direct TV?

Does PSC offer PPV Sports Programming?
No, not at this time.
What equipment will I need to purchase?
Video service requires a modem and at least one set-top converter box. (NOTE: Customers may have up to THREE set-top boxes (STB)) First two STBs are installed FREE- third STB is installed for $49. Monthly subscription is 4.95/STB after the first.
Why do I have to have a modem to receive PSCtv service?
PSCtv uses a DSL-like technology, therefore, the modem is needed to receive and split the video signals. If you also subscribe to DSL service, this same modem is used to deliver data service. If not, the modem is simply used as a video splitter.
Will I be required to pay a deposit?
Deposits will work the same as phone deposits.
Will I be required to sign a service agreement?
Yes, an 18 month contract
Will there be discounts for me if I already have DSL?
PSC will be offering bundling packages for subscribers that subscribe to PSCtv, DSL, phone service and long distance.
Will video service be billed on my PSC Telephone bill?
Yes, all services will be billed on your PSC Telephone bill.
What if I have more than 3 TVs in my home?
Each STB can be connected to 1 aditional TV in your home. The 2 TV's connected to the 1 STB will watch the same channel.
Can I use my existing cable?
PSC technicians will evaluate your home, but in most cases we will run new Cat5e wiring through out your house to get you the best quality TV service.
Is PSCtv High Definition?
Currently, we are offering standard definition.
Can I use my VCR the same way I currently do?
Watching movies will work the same, but initially you will not be able to record a station while watching a different station through the same STB. PSCtv plans to have enhanced services in the near future.
Does PSCtv have PVR? DVR?
Yes, PVR is now available. Some restrictions apply.
Will there be a cost to PVR?
PVR is $7.95/month. PSC will install PVR for FREE and there is no upfront cost for the equipment.
Is VOD the same as PPV?
Video on Demand (VOD) movies are shown (on demand) at your convenience. The movie is available to rewind, fast-forward, and watch repeatedly within a 24-hour period. PPV subscribers cannot choose what time to watch the movie.
How do I block channels or programming that I don't want my family to have?
You can completely block specific channels and restrict viewing by program rating through PSCtv Parental Control features; you will have the most advanced, highly-secure parental controls available. User Guides will be available!
How does PSC's Video On Demand (VOD) work.
PSCtv subscribers can purchase videos in real time over PSCtv. Start the movie when you are ready and pause when there are interruptions.
