All PSC Local Access Numbers are listed on the table below. Locate your telephone exchange prefix (the first 3 digits of your phone number) and then locate the access number under it. If you encounter a busy signal, try another number under your exchange. See Also, "How to change your Local Access Number".
Friendly Internet Access Reminder!
When dialing your local PSC Internet access number, it is important that you use a phone number that is a local call from your home or place of business. If your computer is dialing 1-812 as part of your access number, you will incur long distance toll charges. PSC Internet is not responsible for toll charges that you may incur when connecting to the Internet. Please verify that you are using a local PSC access number for your area.
You can verify that the access number you have selected by simply dialing the 7-digit access number from your telephone.

Windows XP:
1. Open your connection to the Internet by clicking on Internet Explorer or on the PSC Connection icon.
2. In the phone number window, delete the current number and enter the new number.
3. Click on Dial.
4. When asked "Make the phone number change permanent?" click YES.
Windows Me/98:
1. Open your connection to the Internet by clicking on Internet Explorer or on the PSC Connection icon.
2. On the Connection window, click the Properties button.
3. In the Phone Number window, delete the current number and enter the new number.
4. Click on OK.
Mac OS X
1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
2. Click the Network button.
3. Select the PSCI connection in the Location list.
4. Click on the PPP tab.
5. Delete the existing telephone number and type the new one. You may also change the alternate number.
6. Click the Apply Now button.
7. From the System Prefs menu, choose Quit.
iMac Remote Access 3.x
1. From the Apple menu, click Control Panels, and choose Remote Access.
2. Delete the contents of the Number field, and type your new local access number.
3. Close the Remote Access window.
4. Click the Save button.
