Windows 2000/Me/98SE/98 requires software that will allow a PPPoE connection. PSC provides free WinPoETs for these connections. The CD will be provided during your DSL/Wireless installation. If you find later that you need WinPoETs, you can pick up a free CD from the PSC office, or a CD can be mailed to you for a $5.00 mailing charge.

Insert the RapidAccess CD in your CD ROM.
On startup, the Acceptable Use and Terms and Conditions will be displayed. Note: If the CD doesn't autostart: Click CONTINUE to accept the Terms and open the RapidAccess install window. |

| Step 1 - Configure network card | |||||||
| Click the Step 1 button to configure the network card. |
|
||||||
| Make sure the network adapter is displayed in the drop down window. Click OK. |

| Click Yes to continue |

| Click OK. The computer will restart |

| Step 2 - Install WinPoETs Software | |||||||
| Click Step 2 to install the WinPoETs software. |

||||||
| Click NEXT to continue. |

| Click YES to accept the license agreement. |

| Click NEXT to continue. |
|
||||||
| Click NEXT to continue. |

| Click OK to continue. |

| You may be prompted for the Windows 98 CD. If the files are on a CD:Open the CD-ROM, remove the RapidAccess CD, then replace with the Windows 98 CD. Close the player. In the Copy files from window, enter the letter of the CD-ROM (usually D:\), then win98. Click OK to copy files. |

| If the files are on the computer's hard drive:In the Copy files from window, enter the path: c:\windows\options\cabs\and click OK. |

| The computer will install the files from the Windows CD. |

||||||
| Select YES, then click FINISH. The computer will restart. |

Once a connection has been established, you do not need to connect using these icons. Connect using the Internet Explorer or Outlook Express icon. This will open a DUN connection to WinPoETs, click CONNECT to log into the ADSL connection. |
